The in-game chat sucks in general. Our clan uses a 3rd party app for chatting, then we can chat from a PC (with a real keyboard), we get message notifications, we can copy-paste stuff like links and images, more than 100 messages are saved, no character limit, etc. Your clan will benefit from it AND it will solve your problem.
