How has update changed your strategy / game play?

I'm in an all farming clan at the moment (Altar of Heroes #98U2CGGL) and I have no plans to leave but to unlock the new Clan Perks we must be in war. Wondering how this update might be changing your strategy in war and gameplay. Going for the safe 2 star? Waring back to back?

No one HAS to do anything! The only negative impact of the update to farmers, as far as I can see, is that they'll potentially be faced with higher-level troops in enemy Clan Castles. But, several of the new clan perks would be useful to farmers that are only available via participation in Clan Wars: the ability to donate more troops, request more frequently, receive an elixir refund on donated troops, and have donated troops leveled up. So, farming clans have to decide if the perks are worth the effort of participating in Clan Wars.

Personally, I'm quite happy that I'm already in a constant-war clan!

I'm in a relatively low level and small numbered clan. With the update, we're pushing war more often & trying to recruit.

I used to be in a clan that warred monthly and farmed alot, I bet they're changing their strategy alot more.

I run a laid back farming/war clan already. We war 24/7 and the focus is to have an d not worry about winning. The update will help keep war more active with the ability to change who is in it and allow some players to take a break if they want while keeping wars going. It should make it more fun for us.

It hasn't change at all because we cannot seem To get enough clan members to war.:eek:

How about this:

Say "we are going to do some wars in order to get perks. If you do not want in the just opt out"

Easy fix. BOOM!

Then you can do 10v10 wars and gain clan exp and still be primarily a farming clan.

Hell, you can probably even strategize a bit. Do one war with the 45 to 50 players in your clan to see where everyone ranks and have the bottom 10 continue to war while the higher players donate high end troops to win easier.

This.. this is absolutely brilliant.

I love it, I think they are trying to make wars more relevant. This was a good move by Supercell
