Warning before updates happen

I didn't know the update was comming in today, I already started a war, that's not the issue but I wish there was a bit more communication with updates and changes comming in, is there a website that gives the details and dates of updates rather than me hearing about an update and not being able to find any detailed information till it's in?

Ya. I notice they tend to post updates here on the forum like 15 minutes before it happens. As if we are on this forum 24/7. I would like to see these warnings in the game notifications 3 days in advance.
