Frustrating AI & Game Mechanics...
Right, this is off the bat after a frustratingly 1star attack in war..which should have been a 2, maybe even a 3 :p
Ive wanted to make a post about this since ive started playing, but always thought SC would sort it out. Its been 6 months now, an although these things do not happen EVERYTIME..they still linger...frustratingly!
1 - Triggering enemy CC troops?
Im getting really annoyed now with this, its happened the last THREE wars for me! Send in a giant, to trigger them..nothing happens. Send in my CC troops (with giants), which attack the SAME WALL..an they trigger?? Kinda defeats the object ya?
2 - Hero Building Targeting?
Do heroes attack nearest buildings? Well they should, an used to for me...on occasions now, I watch them run around the outside of the towns, even though Ive cleared ALL the buildings on the side ive deployed them! Surely they should be attackin the closer buildings infront of them, rather than running for 20secs, around 2 or 3 corners to attack a builders hut on the opposite side, ignoring all the juicy stuff in the middle..!
3 - AQ is the most frustrating unit!
6 Skeletons beating up your AQ, who doesnt notice them an gets killed! All whilst shes shooting a meaningless wall. Sound familiar? Can sometimes walk (literally) past a couple of turrets, to shoot buildings BEHIND them.
4 - WTH?!?!?
At the end of many attacks, sometimes dozens of units are left attacking meaningless walls, even though there are pathways around them. Wouldnt be so bad if they were all attacking the same wall, but as im sure, we have all seen them attacking walls next to each other..in a somewhat contest to see who gets killed first!
Thanks for a cracking update SC, an thanks for future ones! But please, also work on some of the basic AI that has frustrated many of us since we started playing ;) Or at least me :(
