Clan Donation Wars!
Since there are no clan wars in, ahem, Clash of Clans, we are hosting a clan war... clan mano a mano. Farming4Gold vs Farming4Elixir vs Farming4Farming. Starting in about 16 hours with the stat rest. I hope this will be a fun event for us, and I'd suggest others can host themselves a party too. Thought came to me while sun tanning (cough, Steve) and I thought of the implications of these new troop stats.
We will be closing our doors for a week, so no new visitors, or intra-clan hopping, ... and Gold, Elixir and Farming will compete to see who has the most clan donations after a week. We didn't want to close our doors for the full two week cycle which would crimp our culture of members popping all over the place.
By the way, ahem, I will be moving my two alts to Elixir and Maggie will be moving two of hers to Gold. So, Mr Potato and Mrs Potato are also having a little side mano a mano. Farming4Farming will be (relatively) potato free but shall give it a yeoman's effort, I'm sure.
Stay tuned for the expectant trash talking, of when Mr Potato completely dusts the floor with the remains of Mrs Potato. All hail the evil dictater!

P.S. Could be clan chat folder for this post, but thought it was a more "cultural" event in how to interpret usage of troop donation stat and clans, than necessarily a clan-specific thing... and just how to have some fun.
