I think supercell must put in a code when you start the game to allow for disproportionate award of these materials to make you spend diamonds to make up the balance for an upgrade which in my case is planks (& nails).

I actually sold of a large amount of bolts, screws, tapes and panels yesterday so I could buy ice cream maker and free space in barn. What I should have done is alerted friends and sold the materials to them rather than putting them on open market. Anyway will do this next time.

theres also a thread on forum where people trade expansion items if that could help :) i know duct tape and bolts is gone by the wind in there.. just a tip, its really annoying not having enough place for stocking up a few things.

I can send for my boat whenever, it is the white sugar that is the problem....

If on one else needs the plank, I would love to have it. I could trade for tape, screws, bolts, or I could buy it!

Since you found your way to the forum, you can trade the parts you have too many of for parts you need in the trade thread. I'm sure there's a few players who seem to have an easier time finding the stuff you can't and vice versa :)

Thanks for the update.
Don't use too much of the syrup.. A boat can take up to 5 a crate.
Regarding the ice cream... Do you mean vanilla ice cream ?

You can't sell to friends you have to be lucky someone else doesn't grab it.
Most important when you want to sell to friends is not to advertise and turn off the free advert option every time you add something to your stand.

When you want to sell to one friend in particular it is common practice around here to add 1 wheat for 1 gold in the last box. When that friend buys it you see their name and GC pic they have added. If it is the right person immediately add the stuff you want to sell to them in the same box. Remember not to advertise anything of the items.
