Well, I got raided by a stupid townhall 9 with his stupid archer queen and some giants. He stole 1500 Dark Elixer!!
So, an almost maxed out townhall 8 with level 7 walls is useless against an archer queen and some giants?? What kind of game is this?
Oh I get it, I have to buy 9867146543 gems in order to defend my base properly!
BTW, if you've finally upgrade your townhall to level 8, UPGRADE TO TOWNHALL 9 IMMEDIATLEY.
Yes exactly. a th8 destroys a th7 and so on. Thats how it goes. Play get better and go on the top of the food chain.Quote:

When I was a th8, I found that level 8 walls is what helped me with th9's and there Giants.
i also delayed my dark elixir uogrades until th9.
but I've got some bad news for you....once you hit th9, you get hit by th10's and will still lose tons of loot. its part of the game. Which is why there is more strategy at play than just where you drop your troops. You have shield, resource and defense management to consider.
Exactly, now you understand a rusher's perspective? Maxed TH8 cannot properly fight against a rushed TH9 while the rushed TH9 can 100% the TH8 with a farming armyQuote:

The above is probably the worst advice you can give. That would just make you a TH8 with a black TH and those TH9s that raided you will take significantly more as they do not get penalized for attacking a lower TH. Don't even need Giants. I use barch, 6 WBs & AQ to destroy TH8s. I upgraded half my lavas off maxed out TH8s with full storages in gold league. It's also how I've kept atleast one of my heroes on constant upgrades.
its just something all TH8s have to go through. Once you get to TH9 you'll be doing the same thing.
Put your townhall out and hope someone finds you before a th9. That aq will always be in my nightmares lol. I'm a few days away from my th9 upgrade, so I'll now be the one with the aq raiding you Haha.
Once I maxed my defense and walls(only 20 left) to skulls, I actually could defend my loot somewhat. Level 6 teslas are huge against hero's. But.... No way to stop a th9 with both heros and spells, with L6 Giants. I'm sure at th9, ill get hit by th10s I think there are less th10s in the game, so hoping that helps lower the big raids.
