Townhall 9 Pure DE farming discussion

Hi all! I hv been reading up a lot lately.

I am currently a TH 9 with maxed lava walls but defence are not maxed yet. I am constantly maxed with elixirs and gold.

As such when I farm, I only look for DE. Gold and elixirs are useless as I have no place to dump them. By the time my tesla are done my gold is filled up again. I try to keep 2 builders free to have my royals upgraded constantly. They are now BK 15 and AQ 18. I am current in C2 hovering around 2300 to 2400. I have lv 6 barch And loon. Lv 3 minions.


I have seen so many threads and guides and videos that offer different opinions on DE farming. Bam. Barch. LooNian.

I alternate my farming strategy daily and can't seem to find the best farming comp. I really like loonian with 24 loons 50 minions and 2 heal. I seem to be able to get DE 1200 to 1500 per raid easily as I can get to storage easily. But the training time is too long and I feel I am not efficient eNough.

On the other hand. I am losing trophies with BAM and BARCH. And I find that I'm unable to break into the de storage.. or losing cups when I do commit to getting to that storage.

For those who are using loonian.. while cooking. Do you log out? Or do you boost barracks?

I am desperate for DE. Would like advice from you gurus here.

I have level 25 heroes and farmed DE in C1, but I have nowdropped down to G1 to farm for lvl 10 walls (extra DE will be dumped into heroes).

I used balloonion the whole time, I boosted barracks sometimes but my life is busy and attacking once an hour was appropriate for me. Now I just use BARCH and go for collector raids. Although BARCH builds super quick, I still only attack about once an hour. It is a waste, but I like efficient farming (in terms of spending elixir on troops)

My goodness . . maxed walls and not maxed defenses yet? Wow that's impressive!

I farm DE in C2 using Gibarch. Queen not necessary, but always helpful. 200 bonus plus 1k avg per raid every ~20 minutes. I raid "casually" too (do stuff around the house while my army builds). It's comfortable for me and I suck with loons so far.

I have been farming in M3 for the last few days, with loonions and no heroes, I have been able to farm about 7.5k-10k DE an hour unboosted, I usually go for TH snipes in between building loons, and also sniping exposed drills and storages I do this when I have at least 8 minions and 4 loons made.

The loons are there just in case the TH or the drills/storage has defence structures close by.
