I always tap the collector/mine droplets out of habit when they are red (due to storages being full) An "are you sure?" message would be helpful. I'm sure I'm not the only silly billy lol

As far as I know, clicking on that doesn't get rid of the loot. Correct me if you have empirical evidence.
besides, if your elixir storage is full, just let the elixir collectors replenish itself while you use them up.
I see why you would want this feature but I feel that it is just an unneccessary complexity that doesn't really do much.
Thanks for replying. Yes its not going to make a huge difference to the game. Just wanted to mention it as people in my clan does the same.
If your storages are full and you try to collect form mines/collectors then the loot is lost. I know its simply a case of 'don't collect it' but thats easier said than done
Hmm, I don't see why Supercell would even have this in the first place. They should just make the droplet icons disappear. When you click on the collector, the button that says collect would be red to indicate that your storages are full. If you go ahead and press that, loot is lost.
I rarely have full storages but I remember how annoying those things were and I kept clicking them unknowingly. So I would like Supercell to remove them because seeing the bar at the top-right should be enough to tell me what these red annoying things tell me.
As far as I know, you do NOT lose resources if it was red (being full). Just check the collector through the Info button and you will see the resources are still there.
You do not lose/waste any resources when collecting at or near full storage. Be it mines, collectors, drill, or even Clan Castle with War Loot, it will unload up to as much as it can until maxed, and that is it. Any more button presses will just give the message in red about needing more storage.
Added Edit
You should give Supercell more credit than that :p Think they would allow a way for players to ch3at themselves of loot by such a technically?
You absolutely correct. I just checked. So sorry, I'll delete this post. Thanks for your comments
