It is more benifical to keep your town hall outside while your pushing

Would you rather get your base completly destroyed and lose like 20 trophies or get one stared an lose like 7 trophies. Let's be real here, almost every base has its weaknesses and attackers will find it and use it to their advantage. Putting it on the outside gives you a free 12 hour shield you lose minimal cups and no loot. Sure everyonce and awhile somebody will attack your base well your town halls outside and 3 star or 2 star it. But most of the time in this situation they would attack if the town hall was in the middle anyway. Think about this, it will benefit you greatly.

This only helps if you are high enough in cups where you get smashed on Defense every time.
As a maxed th 9, I got to champs in one week (from 2000) with th inside, I won some, lost some, but mainly got 50% barched, (loot was also inside, and storages not even close to full/collectors empty)

Yes, because you would lose less trophy. If you put the th inside and your base offer a lot of trophy, people will try to 2 star you and you will lose more trophy.

It depends. If your defenses can take on most attacks, don't put it outside. If you get pounded by everyone on defense, putting your TH outside is really beneficial.

I find it to be more beneficial all around to be honest. 90% of the time you get hit by TH snipers which is at most 5-10 trophys lost at any given time, then you get a free shield for it. Which protects you while you sleep. It also spaces out the intervals between getting hit by gowipes compared to a hybrid base setup. I get hit less with the hybrid, but when I do get hit, its devastating.

I have my town hall outside roughly 98% of the time....even though my defenses can hold up fairly well, I just hate to lose any loot whatsoever, as in 5-6 hour full collectors. Trophies are easy to make up if I even want them. Not to mention I have a job where I can't just stop and look at my phone all the time so getting a shield in the morning is really important in my eyes.

It works if you stay online between attacks. If you are pushing and log out after every attack with your town hall out you will get nowhere.

Outside, I do a session (usually an hour or two) around when my shield is going to expire, then come back when the next shield is about to expire, repeat. Funny enough my pushing and farming strategies are almost identical, just slightly different troop/spell compositions.

always been outside since I lost my initial 3 day sheild except for one weekend i wanted to get my defense wins for a few gems.

It is best for farming and trophy pushing because the shields outweigh the trophies lost in single attack. is you still get 3 starred, well that happens, but more often than not you will get someone that will take quick trophies. you just got to make it more difficult and more costly to get to your resources.

Most of the time I get those -1 cup th snipes.

But once I put my th inside, I get two starred for double digit cup losses most of the time.
