Have you ever lost interest in the game?

I have been playing clash of clans for a year now, I am a th9, mid-maxed. I used to clash a lot, I would boost my barracks every time I played and played in sessions, seemed the most efficient way to play for me. Recently, I have not been playing clash as much, it is becoming tedious. It does not bother me anymore if I have idle builders or an idle laboratory. I am also not as active in clan chat anymore. I am just wondering if any of you have experienced something similar and what you did about it? How can I find interest in the game again and get back on my grind?

My clan makes it fun to play, that's the only reason. I think without them, I would probably have lost the interest already . :(

When this happens to me I simply stop playing until I feel that I am intrested again.
I don't fully stop. You can say I become a lazy clasher. I play clash, collect resources, do few raids and try not to let my clan down in clan wars.

​I'm recently coming back too (not sure if you remember me) But i have expierenced it and i think everyone should take a break for a little bit so they can focus on real life.

Yes, just after I went to th9 the build times became ridiculous, and I've found my self full of resources so many times, cause there were nothing to do except farming. I've made a new account now to keep me occupied while my builders working their a** of on main. CoC needs a huge change

Well I used to grind like nobody's business up to almost fully maxed th8... then Destiny came out and I basically just got into that for a solid 2 and half month, (replaced coc time by destiny time). So eventually Destiny's policy became obvious that the grind was gonna be the only thing that keeps you playing + new extension only 3 months in made my gear completely obsolete.....

I just quit that game and slowly went back to clash with flowers and a bottle of wine 'n a bunch of other manly stuff. But yeah I just got th9 like 3 weeks ago now, I see what you mean with the build times!! Almost caught up the new buildings to max th8 standards xD And basically I m just waiting for stuff to be done!
