So leaders cant opt out too? Thats kinda unfair there are times im out of town
You must not have been on the CW forum for the past 8 months? This was one of the (probably THE most) talked about and debated thing in those forums. Ever. Besides the same 5-6 people voicing their (baseless) concerns against opt-out, the rest of the voices seemed to be very positive.
I guess it goes to show you that SC will eventually listen if you speak up long enough about a topic that is sorely needed for the game.
Yes, I've been an advocate of opt-in since April and am very happy to finally have it... but of course you will have those who will complain. There will always be those who complain which is fair enough.
On another related note. Do people who say opt-in is a bad idea not communicate in their clan on a day to day basis? I'm curious as many people have always said that now, all of a sudden half of the clan will be out?!
I don't know how most of your clans operate but as leader I know hours before our war is about to end who is going to be opting out as we communicate in game and on our out of game chat, BAND. It is not hard to communicate with each other and to let leadership know what your life is bringing you over the next XY amount of days so you can plan the clan accordingly. We war 24/7 and have never had issues since starting the war clan because we communicate. That being said, it is still an absolute pain to have to boot and re-invite people while stats get lost and more. Hence why the opt in is great to drop all the needless drama.
Too bad our original clan split up in a mess due to no opt in button... oh well. Better late than never!
Love the clan war opt out feature. My clan has become a close group of friends. Some members are a little.... Challenged.... When it comes to fighting in war lol and would prefer not to do it. This feature will allow us to stay together as a clan without forcing people who don't like/don't do well at war to fight. :o
