Opt In/Opt Out

How? :confused: If someone doesn't want to be in a clan war the leader should be okay with that. Many clans use an opt out system already anyway (kicking members before war). :)

FINALLY WE CAN OPT OUT!!

Wonderful and very convenient feature really. Glad they did this. Yes, Kick/reinvite can also be done but this also makes the kicked person lose all their donation stats. Too many players kicked and it will make your clan look inactive to those looking to potentially join. Not to mention its extra work for the Leader/Co.

There have already been loads of complaints. This forums has a lot of entitled people though who wouldn't be happy with ANYTHING SuperCell puts out. So it's not surprising that the complains have started even though SuperCell has added two highly requested features to the game in this update.

It seems leader/co leaders DO decide who goes to war and who isn't.

Video is on youtube for proof.

This has been super long overdue and im pleased it's coming.


it no longer matters to me much as i now have made other arragements ( im in a no wars clan now) but this feature should have existed from the beginning of wars and its def a good thing it's finally coming, even if it's very very late!!

It will only be a problem if the clan already has 50 members (Yes, i guess many war clans have 50 members but there are some war clans that aren't even close to 50. I'm talking about the casual clans)

Lets say there's a clan that has
30 people
20 opt out
10 opt in

The leader wants at least a 30v30 war.
Does he have any reason to kick the people that opted out? Nah he doesn't ( even if there is this one guy that wants to opt out 24/7) because there is still tons of room to join.

I like this feature cause it stops people from kicking other people just for the sake of war, at least until the 50 member limit is reached, which is good enough.

I know i am probably stating common sense but i still want to say it. :D

They do! It's called accepting a new member.

I'm a big fan of this feature, thought it was needed. Good part of the update.
