Opt In/Opt Out

Ahh okay. Still think it can cause trouble within clans and stuff.

Should have been a day one addition, how can we get excited about something that was needed, xbow glitch fix is going to be a sneak peak you wait!

I'd prefer leaders/co-leaders in charge of who is in and who is out as opposed to individuals.

If a clan believes all members should war than they will sort this out by only retaining members who want to war. This change isn't meant for hardcore war clans so much as the clans that support warring and non warring members. If anything opt out will help to reduce the number of people who don't use their attacks which can be a frustrating thing in close wars.

This problem exists today, the only difference is that opting out is transparent as opposed to someone just not using their attacks. Opting out is just a formalization of a practice already occurring. I think this will make leaders more welcoming of non warring members because they no longer need to constantly kick and re invite the pacifists.

They said in the sneak peek a members choice will be visible to all so there should be no surprises unless people make last second opt outs.

Edit: never mind, I just watched Chief Pat's latest video who confirmed that leaders/co-leaders will have the final say as to who participates.

Why are you guys fighting over something you don't even know how it works? :confused:
