Can't be sure, but I suspect that they CAN'T do release dates, because they're subject to the inconsistencies of the Apple Store review process.
They may start doing sneak peaks once they've submitted the build for review, just to pass the time while they wait for Apple to pull their collective thumb out.
I love seeing a sneak peek every day before the update. It's more exciting than seeing it all at once. :D
I agree. They set the precedent for the gem boost with the lvl 13 archer tower update. I was holding off boosting anything waiting for it.Quote:

I'd prefer sneak peeks if it was big ticket items but things like new clan badge artwork and insignificant cc troop deployment location is just disappointing.
i personaly get desperate with sneak peaks ...but hopefully the update comes on tuesday

If the specific release date does not contain any information what to expect with the new update then I'd prefer sneak peeks over release date. With sneak peeks you can prepare yourself to the new update. Like keeping a builder free and securing enough gold/elixir/DE for whatever it'll be needed if it's something good coming. Feel me?:D
