I'm currently at th8 and have been for about a month. My defences are pretty strong but no matter what base design I have, th9/10s just come in and get all ma loot. Nothing I can do? I've made a huge amount of designs and even tried ones that were highly rated, yet still no success. Btw, it's a farming base.
Anyone else the same? And if youre a th9/10, what's the least favourite thing about th8s that puts you off attacking?
Max level wiz towers and full skull walls deter me.
I've learned to expect it from higher THs, Those L6 Giants do a number on any TH8 village. My village is completely maxed and it is still not possible to stop that attack. They generally can't get three stars, but they get what they focus on, my loot. No big deal, it's just a part of the game.
Back when I was fresh th 8, (th 7 wiz towers and mortars, one was upgrading at all times) th 9 gi barch Always gets me. Those lef 6 giants are unkillable, especially with a heal. Only get ATTACKED when I have full gold tho. I do get attacked if I have full elixir, ( I always have full elixir) but im happy it was put to use rather than it getting wasted. But now DONT have full gold storages much so th 9 DONT att me much. Now My splash is maxed, and so are cannons (Almost) and arch towers are a level below maxed. Loonion still gets me, but I think my Def prevents those GI BARCH ATTACKS now.
I didn't stop getting trampled until I finished my skulls but it seemed to help having my TH in there corner with decorations around it to show its not trapped. Also try silver 1, I'm nearly maxed TH8 now and have farmed it all in silver 1. Not so many TH 9&10 down that low to steam roll you!
You'll be very lucky to stop a TH9+ attack as a TH8 even with maxed defences. I regularly smash up TH8s with Loonion and the biggest threat i face is clan castle troops. Perhaps make sure you have the clan castle central with the right troops in? Against TH10 you are screwed.
If they attack you with Giants/Balloons 6 there is pretty much nothing you can do about it.
BUT if they have just Barch up, it helps a lot if your Mortars and WT are maxed out and mortars are kinda centralized ..
