A friend of mine gave me his old ipad1, I downloaded CoC excited to play on a larger screen (have been playing on my iphone. I sign into my gamcenter account and sign into CoC I got an error message saying ios7 is required to load my account. I did some online research and it looks like the ipad 1 can't run anything newer than ios5. Anyone know of another way to play my CoC account on my old/new device?
I don't think you can play on the iPad 1.
Son plays on original ipad no problem.
sound and graphics suck but it works.
Thing is, his GC is ios 7, and as he stated above, the original iPad can only run up to ios 5.Quote:

Do you have another device that you can currently use to access Clash?
If so, these steps should work.
1) Open Clash on both devices.
2) On both devices, click on the icon with the three gears on it just below the Achievement girl's icon, and above the shop icon.
3) On both devices, click "Link a device"
4) On the iPad, click "This is the NEW device"
5) On the other device, click "This is the OLD device", and then click on "I want to link to another device"
6) Enter the code shown on the original device into the text box on the iPads screen.
7) Voila!

You can start a new village on iPad 1 but cannot transfer another village using Game Center. Try to contact Support for more info and to see whether they can help you.
"Link a device" feature can only be used once to associate A GC account to an Google+ account. It lets you transfer the game cross platform: iOS-to-Android or Android-to-iOS and certainly not in this case (iOS-to-iOS).
