Early-Mid TH8 Farming Base: Adamas

STILL TESTING.

It has already been a week of testing and I have about 8 logs, no snipes included, to this base. I want to know if there's anything I need to work on before I can think about posting it in BD101. Note that I am very early into TH8 but this base has been able to keep at least 4/7 (including the DE storage) most of the time.

The main idea for this base is to funnel the giants throughout the entire outline of the base while being bombarded with splash damage and setting off traps. As shown, the giants will follow the outline of the base and once support comes, the WTs are still standing to combat against them. Any advice will help!

I'm concerned about the DE placement, as there's only one layer of wall to stop attacks before they get to the DE. The way you've designed it, unless the attacker decides to go 100% all in and hits the GBs and gets screwed over, there's no chance for that DE to make it thru an attack from the top. At least move around a few things so there isn't a giant hole there. I'm also skeptical of the bottom-most compartment and the unstggered t-junctions on the second layer. Otherwise, pretty good base. BD101 is a harsh place, they're very, very fair but also very critical of any mistakes that you may make. Also very thorough with their work. They will show at least some respect if you take the time to structure your thread, so don't worry too much, do the best you can.

Thanks for the great feedback, Radiating. A harsh feedback is always better than taking in white lies. While I'm not ready yet for BD101, I'm taking my time with this base. Took me the last 30 minutes or so trying to find a way to fix the faults in this base but I could only try so hard. Here's the base now:

Three things I've changed:
1. Made the bottom part less spacious but still staggered if WBs come from bottom left or bottom right. Also possible to have triple tesla or triple gb if needed.
2. Closed off the compartment coming from left and right compartments for more staggered junctions. I don't know how the AI of the giants will react to this though. It might go for the compartment with the mortar in it, or the cannon/AT, or both.
3. Made a sort of gap at the top to stop WBs from breaking into the core with the mortar. Instead an attacker would need at least 4-6 depending on how the point defenses will react.
