Collector Farming trophy range help a brother out.

Hey All,

I am a new TH9 and have had success in the past but I'm having trouble now. I'm trying to resource farm (mainly gold/elixer) and having trouble finding good bases with most of the resources in the collectors.

I have seen literally 0 bases in gold 1 and few in gold 2 that are worth it. The best collector raids I've ran have been in Iron 1 and 2. Am I just unlucky or are there better collector raids in the 1200-1500 range?

People keep saying gold 1 I can find good raids, sounds like ♥♥♥♥ to me.

Stop looking for collector raid and start focusing on storage raid. With lvl 6 barch with few giants will get you in any th8-9 and most th10s.

Farm at 1550 trophies in gold 2and use 80 archers, 80 barbarians, and 30 minions. Look for easy th8's with 150,000 or more, they are easy to find if not just keep looking or quit and try again in an hour or 2.

Alright, what do you suggest for army comp?

10 Giants, 8 WB, 80 Arch, 74 Barb?

I am currently sitting at around Gold3, and I use 100 Archers, 50 Barbs, and 25 Minions to farm the collectors on the outside of bases. Yesterday, I was extremely lucky, and found a whopping 400k of Gold + Elixir at an abandoned TH7 base with all Level 11 Collectors.

That was pretty lucky, and usually an average raid like that gives me around 150k of each resource. The Gold league is pretty good for finding those kinds of bases, and usually yield me a net profit of around 115k elixir.

My th 9 Clanmates stay in gold 2 and 3 most of the time.

1300-1500 cup range has been money for me on G/E. I am a level 100 TH9. Just today I found 5 bases in an hour in the 1350-1400 range with 700k+ G/E and 1000k+ DE. Some are collector bases and some are not. I use an all barch farming attack most of the time. 100 barbs, 100 archers, 10 WB. I keep 1 lightning, 2 heal, 1 rage spell on hand in case I run across a high level defense th9 or th10 to get that extra loot in the core and lightning for those pesky CC troops at times. The AQ can save the day on a lot of farming raids against higher level bases.

I don't use minions often when farming at this level because you don't find enough DE down here to make it worthwhile in my opinion.

Champion has the best loot. :rolleyes:

1300-1400 has quite a few of those IMO

Idk how you're not finding loot in gold 1, but over the last few days it has been consistently like this..
