Names for the new positions
personally i think that each position is great, but they should be called something else, like instead of vice-leader it should have a name more relevant to the content of the game then something democratic, like it could be 1st Lieutenant 2nd Lieutenant and 3rd Lieutenant(b/c you said there would only be three in this place and the longest one in this position would obtian 1st then 2nd then 3rd). And then instead of elder it could be called Sergeant, then with the newbies to the clan they could be called Recruits, then after that one week is up they are called Private(Even though the name changes that member still gains no 'power' in the clan). The reason why I say it should be changed to these is so that it follows the relevant ranks of an actual real-life Army. I agree with everything else though that you said. And I love the Idea.
Clan Leaders & War Troops
Please give clan leaders the ability to edit war troops donated to other/all clan members' war bases. Sometimes people or new people make a mistake or donate the wrong troops in to war castles. Sometimes newer members request farm troops for war and others fill the castles with poor fighters or weak troops. It take a very long time to get people back on line to dump troops especially in international clans.
The clan leader should have the ability to edit war troops in all of his clans war castles. This way the leader can upgrade troops or substitute 5 L3 wizards for a L4 dragon if he sees fit. Many times, the clan leader has the best troops and can upgrade a L2 Valkyrie, dragon, or wizard with a higher level troops more suited for a war... and more resistant to poison spells!

Ability to change the leader of the clan

In our clan leader almost appears . The former leader office transferred completely non-playing player. Contact with current head is not possible .
I propose to make a choice by voting the leader of the clan by vice leaders and captains of the clan.

A simpler version might work. We certainly need something.
My clan was just destroyed by a Co-Leader, who promoted another co-leader then pulled off a mutiny. Co-Leaders are very powerful and half to 3/4 of the people think they need to be a co-leader or their dignity is hurt.
How about:
Leader
Co-Leader = (limit 4) Same as now except cannot promote co-leaders
General = Major plus can start war
Major = Elder plus can write clan email once every 24 hours
Lieutenant = same as current elder
Soldier = same as a current member
Member = members cannot see traps on clan mates bases allowing recruiting to continue in prep day while we are all bored
Any level can promote, demote or kick out lower levels.
Trying to keep the reprogramming low, less to learn, and not blow up the app size.
How about customizable position rights?
I think that clan leaders should be allowed to decide on the privileges that each position in the clan gets.
i.e, a clan leader can decide if he would like to:
Allow elders to kick(or not)
Allow clan leaders to change clan description
Allow members to invite
etc.
This would allow clan leaders more flexibility to manage the clan. And perhaps even individual members can receive special privileges by the leader, irregardless of rank. It's something to think about, I guess.
Supercell, please make this a priority: Clan Member Ranking
I think the clan member ranking system is a very important part of maintaining order within a clan. After all, the game is about clans and team building as much as it is about individual battles. I propose a simple 5 tier ranking system as follows:
1) Warlord - This is the new name for a Leader. All functions the same as Leader.
2) General - This is the new name for a Co-leader. All functions same as a Co-leader EXCEPT a General can only kick out members below his/her own title and a General cannot promote members to a General or above.
3) Captain - This is the new name for an Elder. All functions same as Elder EXCEPT a Captain can only kick out members below his/her own title and a Captain cannot promote members to a Captain or above.
4) Veteran - This is the new name for a Member. All functions the same EXCEPT they can now invite new members
5) Recruit - This is the new name for a New Member, but instead it is a title given to new players. Until they are promoted to Veteran or above, they will be unable to see hidden traps and bombs of fellow clanmates' home and war bases.

- ELDER (the same role w/ few changes)
Doesn’t matter how many are in this role
They can kick out new members only.
They can accept people into the clan.
Can put troops and take troops from the clan donation box.
-NEW (the same role w/ few changes)
-They basically have no authority until promoted to a higher role, but they can participate in clan wars.
-They also cannot see traps or hidden teslas when looking at other members bases and war bases. (This will prevent war spies.) (This is optional; leaders decision)
-They also cannot see what are in members clan castles and war castles, but they can still donate troops. (This is optional; leaders decision)
-After one week of being a new, their role will turn to blank like it does now and they will be able to see traps, hidden teslas, troops in castles, etc.
These changes will prevent clan war spies. Also, this makes it where the leader doesn't always have to be on, but they still have full control over their clan. This will make the leadership roles in a clan more structured.

I would add the rank of Bishop between Elder and Captain. Same roles as Elder. We need more ranks for promotions (for war participation and donations) and also demotions (not attacking, conduct, etc)
