"Ruled Out" means what, exactly?

I don't mind the addition of customizable clan badges, but they've been "ruled out" for quite some time. Now, however, they're coming to a Clash near you.

This begs the question: What does "ruled out" even mean?

A quick read in the "Ideas and Feature Requests" ghet... err, sub-forum reveals that "ruled out" is merely "for the time being".

If that's the case, then "RO" status is meaningless, as the Dev team is apparently still willing to implement those features whenever they feel like it.

Definitely not trying to hate on new features (clan badges or in general), but don't say "ruled out" unless you well mean it. :-/

I bet 1000 gems in the next update they'll let us exchange resources or donate rscs

I think that in terms of clan badges, the idea of COMPLETELY designing your own clan badge was ruled out, because people could create some really innappropriate designs. However, with the system SC has created, you can design your own badge using pre-existing colors / patterns / borders.

Ruled out means it will never happen for various reasons.

Ruled out means the feature will most likely not be added to the game any time soon. It doesn't mean it will never, as there have been times before when ruled-out ideas have been in the game.

Ruled out means exactly what it says. It has been ruled out for the time being.

Level 14 cannons are not being added to the game any time soon (since we'll be getting level 13 cannons in a bit).

Should they be "ruled out" too?
