Account banned for offensive or inappropriate clan description.

Title says it all. Tried to log on just now and get ready for war only to find this message at the loading screen. Read some of the threads regarding this issue but I am pretty sure we don't have anything inappropriate in our clan description. We never trash talk with it and our leader is the only one who gets to edit the description. I don't remember what we have in the message exactly but it is just some requirements for recruiting. There might be a "Clash on m*******" at the end but are you seriously going to ban the leader and the co's just for that? Can't you just send us a warning, contact the leader, or just get rid of the description? I feel like some clans are just treating this as a strategy to get an advantage in war and hopefully there will be some improvement.

Someone might have changed the description while you were away.

You said you read the threads regarding this issue, so you know that the leader/coleaders get a short ban for offensive descriptions. Shouldn't be a surprise to you that there was a ban.

Well, that thing at the end is what obviously caused this, and as it inappropriate for this game, SC has decided to take action and ban you. I hope you realize that the co-leaders and leaders must take responsibility for actions pertaining to the clan as a whole, involvement or not. There's responsibility that comes with power. Have fun waiting out your 2 day ban, nothing can really be done now.

Stupidest way to enforce a rule ever.

Utilizing this logic, should all of the SuperCell staff be banned? After all, any of them could have been the source of the update leaks, right?

Wow, can someone clarify this for me please? Was the OP saying his whole clan got banned?? :rolleyes:

There is no way to know who edited the description last so everyone who can edit it must be punished. Next time make sure all members in a leader position understand the consequences of their actions

I know weve been in long disagreement on this issue.

But it as far as leaks go for a business, im sure heads start Rolling when a leak happens And of they dont find the source, the whole group receives at the very least an ear full. They didnt just say "oh another leak oh well" no someone was angry at someone, and it'll usually be department heads (also known as coleaders and leader in game)

In the clash world, i still stand by that leaders and coleaders are responsible for the tempo of the clan. All the cos in my clan know not to push the limit on clan description, and we dont. Haven't been banned or baited yet.

This wasnt a case of a random clan description, he finally admits after playing dumb that they routinely say a word that is censored. They got banned. That is your warning as its only for 2 days at most and will teach a lesson much faster than an email asking politely to follow the rules.

So you have words that you intentionally censored yourself in the OP in the description and you are still wondering why you got banned and claim you don't have anything inappropriate?
