How important is the 6million lix & gold and 80,000 de startup as a new TH9? a MUST?

(Max TH8 except goblin,wall breaker,heal spell, valkyrie, and golem in lab)

Eh, I hope most of you will understand what i am trying to say.

I stopped playing for a few days/2-3weeks because of life. I am some kind of math whiz and I want to push my math to the next level (study really advanced stuff) so i stopped playing for a while.

Now i just want to play casually but there is still something stopping me from going to TH9.
By casually i mean i just want to help my in real life clanmates in war if i feel like playing and etc

I see people keep emphasizing that you need to get 6 million gold and elixir and 80,000 de in storage while the town hall is still upgrading.

I have max walls so i already experienced barching hard for gold and lix non-stop for a few days in game time.
Maybe i can get the 6 million gold and lix in 2 hours ( 2 golden hours :P ) but the 80,000 de seems like hell to me.
I might finish DE upgrades if i ever get motivated to farm that many dark elixir as a TH8 but anyways, back to the topic of the title.

Is the full storages a must for new TH9s?
I want to play casually from now but i might not even have enough elixir to make troops if TH9s and TH10s keep destroying me on my first few weeks as new TH9s.

I hope someone can give me a good explanation of the pros and cons of filling storages while town hall (8) is upgrading ( and maybe even teach me to get 80,000 de easily).

I wouldn't say you have to be maxed. It helps.
You could go with just 40k de just to get the queen straight away.

There is no time limit fortunately. So you can do it at your own pace.

Technically u need the 8 mill to get the 2 xbows up, 4.1 mill Lix to get the spell factory and lab up, and 40k de for the aq

U would need about 4 builders for that, and that's a pretty good start for th9

Its not important at all, just nice to have so you can get all the new things right away. :)

It's probably easier to get the dark elixir for the queen with more and better drills.

In 2 days I will be a th9.
IMO 6m elixir + 1m in cc will help a lot cause you can max offense asap.
65k de would be good to upgrade queen to lvl2.
As for gold IMO it is good to have 3m to get the first xbow but it is not as important as elixir.

The AQ is 40k so that's all you really need to start off

Don't forget the cc for war loot, that helped me a bunch. I had max elixir and gold and had enough de to get the queen (previously I dumped the de to get lvl 2 golem). I also bought both xbows, upgraded the spell camp, dark barracks to lvl 5, and something else that I can't remember (I think it was archer queen level 2) in the first couple days of getting to th 9.

Remember you can also upgrade straight to th 10 if you so desire.

Its ok not to have maxed storages, but I highly recommend at least 40k DE and 4mil elixir to start out (AQ,lab,spell factory). 5mil gold is nice to have if you can for CC. Xbows are not that high in priority in your first week
