Wait till I get Lv6 troops, will get the chance to attempt at stronger bases, and master the skill of a none-wb army :cool:

Yea.. I'm so glad the TH8 base design thread is running so awesomely right now, with tons of members stepping up as ping and myself steps ahead to TH9.. huge props to them for running the show now !

Its a game afterall, and the forum population isnt that big either, so I don't find it necessary to keep these as if they are trade secret.. not like this is some real life investment method or something haha..
So why not share it with the community, so everybody can improve together, and give this game a greater depth.

As said previously, I really don't have a answer to these sort of question haha, since you do not have anything "special" regarding your situation, and both bases are great and tested.
So yeah, in general, I will recommend the pokeball, unless you are looking for more protection for your DE, then do consider the battleship.

-2mortar and 2wizzies won't be destroyed by 4 lightning spells, 2 each in between them


also swap 2 cannons for acher tower

Haha, lots of people love the violin-dubstep music though, but yeah, this is music we're talking about, where preference and taste differs alot :) Just play what you feels best haha !
Trophy hunting wise, nope, didn't go deep into it as the league was just a disappointment haha, totally not motivated to build and perfect a trophy/hybrid base..

You can check out ping's hybrid th8 tesla theme park, I believe it works quite well :)

1) Improper T Junctions
2) Lurable CC
3) DE unprotected by wiz at all
4) Air defs all too exposed
5) No need to cluster barracks, now they are linked via barrack arrows.

True, but my bottom right 2 gold storage really attracts alot of attacks from that side, so those mortars at those position really helps to take down lots of infantry.
Yeah, mortar and wiz are very close, but its really very very rare for that to happen. So yeah, I don't mind the risk.
Nobody has touched my de for the past 1 week except lightning haha.

I prefer archer over cannons though, as they can target air as well, although rate of fire is slower, the theoritical dps is the same.

Hey Junironman, sorry for the late reply. Thanks for posting the defense videos. I will now be rearranging my base to try yours. I am currently using Pingfao's base which i have grown fond of but i've found that the defense is somewhat spread out too much so ill try yours which has a more compact design. Again, thanks for the great thread and keep it up!

Yea gonna use it till im maxxed havent been attacked yet but it does look very good thanks for your great designs i might try out the th8 when i upgrade :)

Is the Millennium Falcon TH 7 tested? I mean, it's been a week since the whole thread started, so it means somebody must've tried it! If so, please tell. :D
As you know, I'm impressed by the Pokeball design for TH 8, but I have TH 7. If its been tested, did you make a video on it, Jun? XD if so, I would like to see it.
Also, for the TH 7 design of the pokeball does it need to be maxed in order to work well (I'm almost there, 3 archer towers upgrading to the max of th 7),and does it give the town hall any protection at all besides the tesla? I prefer a hybrid base, but I haven't found any that's good, so I'll stick with this. Do you have any idea to make the Pokeball a hybrid base from its original farming base? If so, that'll be so awesome and I'll love you for ever Junliang! XD

I am very surprised that I am on Junliang's post and was featured in Pingfao's base reviews. It's pretty cool because you two are the best TH8 base designers.

Yes haha. People may think that I'm some little kid because of that name but this is the story. My brother who is younger than me had an iPod and I didn't have an iDevice. So I heard my friends talking about clash of clans about how much it is a fun game and I started playing it too on my brother's iPod. So literally, I was spending more time on the iPod than him. He got annoyed so he said that I can't play on the iPod anymore. So I told him I'll be you an iPod and I take your iPod. He agreed and I took his iPod and now he has his own. The bad thing is that his IGN: [-Oats-] and I didn't like that game. I tried changing the game center name thinking that the in-game would change but it didn't. So now I'm stuch with that IGN... FOREVER!!!!
