The TH7 one is great, got attacked with a full composition of level 5 troops, lost 60k of each with a two star. (Half the base) Great base

Can i use your pokeball with cannon funneling? Or any other pokeball?
My mortars and wiz tower are maxed for th8
Archer tower are lvl 9 and started cannons now.. my trophy range is 1300-1400 and i love DE also :D
your advise will be really helpful :)

Hey just wanted to thank you for these. I'm not sure if it was just a fail attack or what but it managed to let me keep almost all of my resources when a th9 came to rofl stomp me.

So thanks a bunch! (Side note. Which one do you think is the best?)

Ive been using the hybrid version, I might switch to the farming version though. Ive been dropping down to 1050 trophies each night and getting around 8/9 defensive wins through out the night but by the end of the night some th9/th10 guy stomps on means gives me a shield, im using the hybrid base ti help get me thedefensive achievement

:) Main thing is resource haha, getting 2 star is not an issue if you are not losing much resource, and great job defending against a higher town hall !

Sure, go ahead and use them :)
Although if you want to protect DE more, I will recommend battleship instead, but give them all a go ya, and see what you like :)

I personally like 1I or 1L :)
Increased protection for DE, yet still have good protection for gold, and elixir is not impt, so used as meat shield for gold, and there is funneling against giants haha.

Yup haha, the new loot system doesnt really benefit hybrid bases much to be honest.
But if you still can prevent losing lots of resource and still gain trophies, then go ahead :)

Here is the TH8 diamond defender, with funneling modification made at the left and right corner !

Will get around in making an anti-hog th8 base when I have the time lols.
But honestly, even if you can make the hogs go on a merry go round, TH8 just don't have the defensive capability to take down those hogs.
TH9 has xbows for single target dps
TH10 has infernos for multi or single.

TH8 only has..
1) mortars << too slow against hogs
2) Wiz << range too short if place in central core
3) Arch Twr << possible, but its insufficient in replacing xbow, and arch twr in the core means mortars outside, meaning weak against mass troops again.
4) Cannon << be scare of balloonions if you are putting cannon in the core lol.

So I guess the main trick is
1) Bait enemy to attack from a certain area say using ur DE/town hall
2) place more spring traps as well as dual giant bombs there.
