The townhall 8 diamond defender base has gone well in silver 1 and I gained 109 trophies in one night! How ever once I entered gold 3 I got demolished.

One issue is: Resource distribution.
Take a look at the pics below.

Resource distribution, try not to bias your resource such that cutting the base in half will expose more than 3 out of 4 of your resource.
B) Here is your base's resource distribution

all 4 of your Gold/DE is exposed by cutting the base in half.
Suggestion for solution: Reposition your gold and DE such that cutting the base in half will only expose 2 or only 2.5 out of 4 of your gold/de storages.
Let me know if you need help in readjusting the gold/de position.

I like the looks of the base but I don't like the storages. Could you make separated storages on the diamond defender for th8. I think this would really help. I'm using the pokeball and it works great. Nice job!
Why ur battleship base for th8 is not much popular?? It seems extremely balanced one!
