Compilation of Junliang's Base Design- TH7/TH8/TH9, Pokeball/Battleship Farming Bases

Thanks for another amazing thread. I've used your pokeball in the past and tried out Pingfao's theme park for a trophy run a month ago. After the run I went back to farming and decided to try out the battleship.

The battleship has been good to me but my clan is starting another trophy run which means I need to protect my TH again. As you can see my walls are finished and the only defensive upgrades I have left are two teslas up to lvl 6. I'm hoping to get to >2300 cups, what base would you suggest I use for the trophy run?

Love all these bases..... all have their own strengths depending on the intention.

BUT....

Can anyone help me please..... I am relatively new to these forums and have learned ALOT over the past weeks. And yes, I only found out that upgrading to a hiher town hall without maxing defences is a bad idea.

So I am a pre-mature town hall 8 slowly building my way up. (only have 3 builders as I dont really want to spend money on gems)

Below is my progress

Mortars -1 level 6, 2 level 5
Wizard towers - all level 4
AD - all level 4
AT - all level 8
Cannon - all level 8
Tesla - all level 3
CC - level 3
Army camps - all level 6
Barracks - 3 level 8 1 level 9
Dark barracks - level 1
Dark elixar drill - level 1
BK - level 1
Goblins - level 5
Archers - level 5
WB - level 5
Giants - level 4
barbs - level 4
wiz - level 3

I have now learnt how to farm so have been raiding very often.

Which base/tactic is best for me???

Its okay haha, when I was a fresh th8, I was getting raided tons by th9ers as well.
Yeah, I would recommend pokeball without funneling for your case.
But seriously, upgrade those splash towers asap.
TH8 but only with lv3 wiz tower ? O.o...

Yeah, I would definitely prefer the 2 AD design, as both AD are in the secondary core of the base.
As compared to the 3AD design, which exposed 2 AD, and only have 1 AD in the secondary core.

If you can plan your AD upgrades such that you can run 1H majority of the time, that would be best.

generally its about the same, but i dislike how some areas of the walls made the entire base not symmetrical.
i'm a big fan of symmetry, be it 2 face symmetry or rotational symmetry, so yeah.

Anyway, upgrading def throw out.
And why is your archer tower in the core ?
Give it to mortars instead.
And is it suppose to be a transformer ? Why do you have your th inside ?

Glad to see the battleship working well for you :)

But sadly, I only have 1 hybrid base setup, which is 1P.

Hybrid =/= Trophy base btw.

But yeah, you can try the 1P, and modify it to your own usage if you need.

Base wise, run either
1E) TH8, 2AD, No Funneling
or
1J) TH8, 3AD, No Funneling
or
1L) TH8, 3AD, No Funneling, increase protection for Elixir, 3rd AD low level.

But if you need to protect elixir as well, then
1G) TH8, 2AD, No Funneling, increase protection for Elixir
or
1L) TH8, 3AD, No Funneling, increase protection for Elixir, 3rd AD low level.

Tatics wise, just stay below 1,400 trophies and farm.

Recently, elixir is always near full/max, thinking of ways to re-position them haha.

I personally love the history, and progress I made with the pokeball as well :o
Coming from a normal base with faults like poor T junction, exposed core,
I slowly improved upon the base's foundation, which is the wiz/mortar/gold/CC/DE position.
I ever further pushed it limits by introducing funneling version, thanks to ping :o
Definitely one of my proudest creation so far, and I'm glad you can appreciate it as well.

Haha, thanks for the feedback regarding the TH9 design.
It certainly gave a different "feel" compared to my TH8 pokeball.
But I'm personally have "designer" block as of how to adapt it as well haha.

Having to push in 2 Xbows, 1 DE storage is certainly challenging >.<

Hmmm..... Your TH9 design loooks almost identical to my TH10 design :D.... I think we must drink from the same water supply.. hehe...

And I also know what you mean by "designer" block. Every design i try to make ends up turning out to be the same design :(
