So far, I have attackers who triple light my wiz + mtr, but nobody triple or quadruple lightning my cc to get my mortar yet.
Possible concern, but is very rare.

Deterrence. You won't see air attacks coming if you protect them well.
Expose them alittle and you get tons of air raids on you.
Although yes, air raids are not that frequent at 1,000, its pretty common here at 1,600.

Yes, defense is always priority, followed by walls with spare gold.
But if you are nearing max th7 with gold walls, then it just means you are not farming enough.
High level walls are signs of a good farmer, but if you really do not have the time, so be it then, real life commitments takes priority over a game.

Yes, try to spread your builders out to handle different kind of upgrades, like some on gold, some on elixir, and remember to spread builder properly such that you have time to spend the gold.
You do not want to be stuck with 4m gold but without a builder to spend them on walls.

Whats the 2 extra walls doing outside your base ? They are missing from the edge of your elixir storages.

Jun what is your opinion on Hero's? Should they be inside or outside the base?

Jun, do you have a screenshot/link of the base you were using at TH8 during the trophy push? It was the one inspired by pings hybrid with the TH in the middle with cc and de. I noticed most of the TH8 in exodias were using it during the trophy push as well.

But at the same time, a difficult one >.<

My recommendation is that if your heroes is low level, then don't bother, just put them outside.
But if you wish to try them for defense, then go ahead and put them inside.

So far, I find AQ far more superior in defense that BK.

Currently I'm trophy hunting, and attackers/defenders are all using powerful troops like pekka, so BK isnt that useful as it gets 2-3hko easily by the pekka, but the AQ is useful in "luring" pekka to another direction since pekka gets lure by cc troops/heroes.

I have not tried them in a farming base, but I would expect them to fare better in a farming base as they are fighting against lower tier troops :)

Sorry for not being able to give a clear concise answer, but I'm experimenting it myself as well :)

No worries about not being able to give a concise answer but I understand what you're saying. It's always great to see from another persons perspective and figured your expertise in base building would help with that. Although I know you just recently upgraded to TH 9 so there will be A LOT of experimenting being done lol I look forward to any future designs. Cheers!

I can't give you an answer, because trophy hunting is really about offense.
