My pokeball is a farming base.

I tried converting pokeball to a hybrid base before and it didn't work well.

Ping's hybrid doesn't protect de, hence I modify it to suit my usage, and NO, i did not claim credit for the base.

So please, get rid of the sarcasm in your post, I don't like that.

Been using your 1j design for some time now and its been really effective so far! Thank you for posting your brilliant base designs! Keep up the good work! :D

I wouldn't make fun of you.. Was just messing around calling names of the Battleship layout based on the results I had, but then when I saw that I was stretching the joke too much and you got offended, decided enough was enough and started to use it's birth name. I'm not sarcastic, nor challenging you with anything, cos by far you are a in the PRO league while I am in the junior one, so kudos for that. :cool:

Also, in my last reply towards you I may have been a bit sarcastic, but was actually expressing my surprise cos was wondering about the move. A move that actually surprised me as I was honestly expecting you to stick with one of the Pokeball or Battleship versions, and definitely not switch to a brand new layout. Isn't like the move makes me over the sudden think or consider any of the layouts that are present in this topic a big failure, a joke or whatever like that. No, hell no. I had a great time in one version of the Pokeball, gave the Battleship a try but didn't find it on my taste and decided to switch and now I seem to run a hybrid of the Pokeball and Battleship. ;)

I know all about your layouts cos I'm one of your biggest fans, I thought the multiple referrals to this topic would express this. :rolleyes: Again, haven't accused you of anything, was just curious about the reason of switching to a brand new layout and especially why not stick with one of the layouts that worked so great for you.

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to see what surprises you have in store for us when you will finish TH 9. ;)

Edit: in my defense, I considered the Battleship a failure (aka. Battlefail) cos one of the TH 9 attackers managed to get 4 of the 7 storages and that's unacceptable in my book. If I recall correctly in one of your videos said almost the same thing about it... Anyway, at any time in my TH 8 life no TH 9 managed to achieve the same thing while had the Pokeball version, hence the mocking on the Battleship. Apologies if was a ♥♥♥♥♥ about it.

junliang, whats a good base for trophy hunting? i know you are more of the farmer type but do you do hybrid layouts too? im a town hall 8 player. thanks.

@Cristian have you checked the first page? he has a few semi-cups-hunting versions, also known as "want to see some better replays than just the pick off my TH and leave" by his fans. His latest version, that was a shock to me at least, is Pingfao's Tesla Theme Park hybrid layout but he tweaked the core to suit his needs. He posted it there and here too a few pages back.

Jun, I've been using your pokeball setup since I basically started TH8, and it's worked great for farming. I push my elixer to the outside walls and still end up with full elixer storages...it's weird. In the 4 segments around the CC I have 3 gold storages and de storage. Aside from getting dragon raged before 3rd AD was introduced, nobody has managed to get more than 1 of my gold storages. I think I'll definitely be using aznmonkey's circle base for TH9 once I make the jump in a few months. Looks solid. Thanks for the work you put into all this!

Hey Jun, now that Play3r1 mentioned, out of curiosity, are you going to do get similar to aznwarmonkey's layout when would reach TH 9? Any sneak peeks? ;)

his layout yes, but nothing released by you. was curious if you got other plans. to be honest, I wouldn't have all 4 air defense THAT centered. sure, he may have got attacked a lot with air but really, THAT close to center?

besides, when I see a center like that I instantly get like a flash movie in my head the video where you decided to switch layouts and separate the middle, and what's more important why. :p
