As you can see from the title....I am th8 level 90. Now I'm thinking: Why am I not in th9 by now? Is it weird that I'm still grinding walls and finishing up my archer towers?(only archer towers; last barrack level 10 in ~10 minutes; traps kind of good)
Nah, nothing wrong with it. I see lv95s at end TH8 sometimes, it just means you donate quite a bit.
Well if you were th6 and lv 50 you would be surprised too

get on with upgrading your th to 9. you will be kicking yourself for not doing it. so many upgrades and troops that help a ton. i think its time

My account that is probably the closest to you is TH8, level 71 - still have 2 WT, all AT, and teslas to upgrade. My EE is 56mil, and GG is 63 mil. HH is 51k and I stay in the 1250-1450 trophy range. FIN is at 10k donations.
My max defense TH8 is level 81 - still maxing out King and dark troops. EE is 90 mil, and GG is 98 mil. HH is only 80k....have never ventured higher than 1500 trophies to really farm for DE. FIN is 16k.
You get XP from donations and clearing obstacles, so having a higher level number doesn't mean a whole lot. We have TH9 that are higher level than our TH10 guys, and it's strictly from the troop donations.....an extra 25k donations really makes a difference!
High donations + prolly hitting on goblins.
Nothing wrong. Im still farming my walls so I can go to th 9... I wanna max them out. Im a level 105 th 8

I'm a th 8 still not maxed(teslas level 4,level 11 elixir collectors,50 walls left to upgrade,2 level 9 barracks,most traps are th 7 lvl and many lab researchs left)
Yet i'm level 92 because of the donations(42k i think)
I was fully maxed th8 when i upgraded (defences, walls and research) Lvl 97. Yes I donate a lot.
Don't rush to th9. Its much easier at th9 when you are fully maxed. Well from my experience anyway.
Doing all lab upgrades at th 8 takes too much time and will lead to high unemployement rates for your builders.
For me maxing all elixir troops,2 spells,1 dark elixir troop is the maximum if you don't want to waste your builder's time.
