New Troop - Chakram Dancer
Initially I was thinking about tribesman that uses boomerang, but something came into my mind when I was playing some MMO's. I am sure most classic MMORPGs players knows how this class works, so here is a suggestion about this troop and my personal point of view of this troop.
Chakram Dancer Abilities :
Ability to throw chakrams in a straight line, and returns to the Dancer, dealing double attacks. Unlike the Valkyrie which has a splash damage over a certain radius, Chakram Dancer deals damage is a straight line.
Chakram Dancer stats :
Attack range : 2 tiles, (4-6) tiles < What does this mean? I'll explain it below.
Damage per second : 40(2x, first hit and bounce back)
Hitpoints : I would say hp about Wizards, maybe a little higher, or Hog Riders, a little lower, regarding the housing space.
Cost : Dark Elixirs, amount? Not sure. Should be a little costy for this unit.
Favourite target : Any
Targets : Ground units only ( Explained below )
Training Time : (6-10 minutes) As this unit might be a little 'hardcore', a longer training time should be reasonable
Movement speed : Prior to archer / Valkyrie speed (?) Since it's a dancer :p
Housing space : 6/7/8 ( I am not sure about this, so I will discuss about it later in this thread )
I will explain the Abilities and Stats of Chakram Dancer below :
Ability to hit in a straight line
- For this ability, a good range would be around 4-6 tiles. Similar to Valkyrie, this unit hits multiple units behind the primary target. What makes this unit special is that it is a melee-range unit. Attack range, 2 tiles from an unit, and the chakram sweeps pass 4-6 tiles to the units behind it, and bounces back, dealing a double attack.
50(2x) Damage per second, and 6/7/8 housing space.
- As this unit hits twice, it deals a total of 100 dps. It would be easier to to explain in damage per hit.
Damage per hit : 75 / hit (2x) Which gives it an attack speed of 1.5s and a total damage of 150 per attack. It might get overpower if the attack speed is a second or less. Why overpower regarding the housing space? Further explanation when you've read till 'supporting other units and 'Ability as a clan castle unit'. As for the damage, I still have doubts on it. Maybe a little adjustment, perhaps?
Supporting other units
- For most townhall 8 and above Clashers, The GoWiPe ( Golem, Wizards, P.E.K.K.A.s) combo is a very effective strategy especially in a clan War. Chakram dancer would be a great addition to destroy multiple targets placed behind a single layer of wall while being protected by Golems. The HP of Chakram Dancer should be enough to tank a number of attacks prior to Healer Heal/s - Like the wizards. As a 6/7/8 housing space unit, crushed by a single/double hit from mortar will seem cute. This unit could be a substitute for Wizards, and would be a great assist unit behind the P.E.K.K.A.s. A jump spell would be a great addition behind multiple layers of walls and a rage spell would prove this unit extremely powerful while charging into the center of the base. For TH10 Clashers, the 2, (4x6) radius attack range will have a good time destroying Inferno towers hiding behind other buildings with a number of them. Does this make them overpower though?
Chakram dancer as a Clan Castle Unit
Offensive - As an offensive troop, this unit might do just a good as wizards as a support unit. All that left is the housing space, 6 might be a little too overpower, 8 might be too much as it is not a tanking unit and deals less DPS than Wizards per supply basis. 7 would be a balance between them (?)
Defensive - With a 2, (4-6) radius with a straight line damage an bounce back ability (2x), this unit may simply become a VERY DANGEROUS UNIT as a defensive troop behind the wall. For lower Tier Townhalls, a Dancer paired with a Valkyrie would mean a disaster for a raid / war. With this ability, 2 or 3 dancers may easily wipe out a group of archers that tends to stack together. Also, with the Dancer's tendency to target 2 or more units simply makes it hard for attacking Clashers. Regarding this, I have doubts on the damage and the housing space. An 8 housing space unit with 100 total dps and hp of Hog Riders might sound a little too overboard, while a 6 housing space unit might make it sounds overpower. 7 Housing space might do?
As for the Skins and Custamization... I have no idea about it. A mask? Chakrams like Phantom Assassin? Sexy loincloths? :p:p:p I'll leave the Designs part since I'm pretty bad at imagining stuffs ( :p )
