Some sort of knock-out competition, where you play against the ones in your league and you can advance to the next round. You earn loot if you progress and the top 3 or so win a substantial amount of loot but more important... a lot of cups. This way, the leaderboard is not just "the one who spends the most amount of money" and also not looking at clouds 24/7 and when you decide to attack, it is for 1 to 3 cups lol. No... when you manage to finish in the top 3, you can gain many trophies... 50-100 for example.

This way, there is a totally new feature (heads-on knockout competition), a new way to earn loot and more important, a new way to serve the leaderboard.

And this is just a simple thought from a simple player. Just imagine what Supercell could think off...

Thats true, I recall a dev once saying they are aware of the problem with clouds etc. That was the initial focal point of the game. If they could rework that the game could become massively better. But there would be more complaints than there was with changing loot mechanics. And they would naturally want to preserve the broken status quo that brings them money. But you are correct, for players like you 'fixing' cups and making it more engaging is what they would have to do.:)

thank you supercell for adding the opt out... something that should have been included from jump street, but was overlooked for numerous updates for god knows why. Also thank you for adding more flags, I've been waiting for that one for years. My 5 year old daughter can't wait to play with the new patterns and design our new banner. Maybe tomorrow the sneak peak will be new artwork on the loading screen. CANT WAIT!!!

Not really, Ever heard of The Clan Wars Update, It Wasnt There Forever, It was out in march

Thanks Super Cell, for finally allowing us to opt in or out of war! Now we just need upgrading heroes for war, donations to remain intact upon exiting and re-entering a clan, and can alliances. :cool:

OP your opinion is your opinion, I personally think that this updates okay so far. It would make sense for SC to save the best for last, does it not though? There's still some hope for you OP.

Bring more than one healer and drop them after the next a.d. Is down....

It's not just that traps targetted then it's also the AI that need fixing. If they did nothing with the AI then yeah healers are still useless but I am hopefully they will be useful again. Healers used to work, now they are just awful to try and keep on your Giants

Nope. Not gonna happen. Too many gems spent in waking them. We might want it, but no. Waiting time IS their revenue source.
Look on the bright side, they gave you an easy way to skip war when heroes down....
