yeah right I forgot clan management101 and negative stats. Leaving a clan have good and bad reasons which is not negative anyway and can be reset each seasons its not info on how many times you been booted out. A good manager and leader needs information and data whether to take risk or not and to be guided on his action. Making millions per day doesnt make SC and coc immortals. Try organizing a new clan on low lvl XP and TH and on perspective of noob leader and see how frequently you will be distracted by this bad hoppers then compared it with your previous experience then comeback to us with your analysis. When you manage your clan before and apply your management101, situation is not completely the same, making minor tweaks a necessity for today or future update. Honestly, I dont have stats between how many top clans and players have became inactive versus new active clashers and clans working their up but I suspect there is already a gap on the cycle making this game vulnerable in the future. My request is that you comeback after 2months rather than giving negative feedback on suggestions and ideas by saying this is ruled out so and so sc doesnt like negative stat etc. Ideas no matter how silly is always worthed.

As a comment to recruiting, my clan consists of people I know and met personally. It is a small 11 team member right now, but we get 100% participation. We keep it once a week so it's not overwhelming. We have won over half our wars mainly from the other team not participating, which is fine by me.

1) Too many cons. Besides, SC might have some legal problems if some kids who were (legitimate age) being bullied and couldn't leave because they were at war. Sorry, I say no to bullying.

2 and 3) I'm sure Rwelshjr will come here with his explanation of a two-tiered system, but as at its basic, a two-tiered opting system allows both of these to happen. As for my personal opinion.

Reasons
The main reason is, as stated above, because people don't want to kick people and invite them just so they can opt outon war. While that is a solution, it has some consequences, including misunderstandings, drama (omg, you kicked me out so that I wouldn't be in war) and loss of donation statistics.

Some might argue that if one does not wish to participate in war, one must simply join a clan that does not participate in war. The reason this is not true for many people is that those who care about being able to opt out are more likely to be loyal members, or at least friends with many. Leaving as a group is not a solution either since the group of friends would still be split between warring and not warring. Splitting the group results in the splitting of friends, which lowers the amount of motivations to keep playing CoC. If sister/feeder clans been implemented, that would be a long workwaround that could still be flawed.

There is another reason that this is suggested, which is that players will still "have a life" outside of CoC. This includes vacations, examinations, business trips, blackouts (+and other force majuere disasters) in the residence of one player which doesn't affect the others physically etc.. Thus, some players would only opt out some times and return to war actively.

We've talked A LOT about adding an opt-out feature in Clan Wars and it's not currently in the cards. At this point, we just haven't found the right solution that fits Clash how it should.

From my experience in CoC (not just me, but also my clanmates), I'm going to added to the list [of stuff that people have given to say why the don't want it but need it] at the end of the post.

"They spoke of fractured clans, lost members", lost friends, stress that may have led to GPA loss (hence less chance for college and all that nonsense), lots of drama, rebellions within clans, inter-clan drama/rivalry and family problems of all sorts including, but not limited to, parent/child and siblings.

War Opt in/out is the second most wanted feature (an extremely close second) after Quests from the list of features on the poll (which covers most popular requests IMO).
212 people have voted for War Opt In/Out at the last time I checked (February 8th).

4) there already is one, you can't be in war for the next few hours. If the guy leaves then there might be some problems with your clan management. What we need is a message asking players of they really want to leave in war (explain the penalty, because many don't know)
