Soon to be TH9, and these are my thoughts. Do you agree?
As the title stated, I am very close to maxing out th8. All I have left is my valk upgrade, my gold mines, and 3 or 4 more traps to upgrade. Right now my king is at lvl 5 and my walls are all purple. I was planning on finishing all of the upgrades (besides walls and king) and then while waiting for the update by upgrading as many walls and my king as much as I can in that time. My reasoning behind this is so that I can do any new upgrades that are caused by the update (assuming there are any for th8 and below). After catching up from the update, I would move on to th9 not caring my king's level or the amount of black walls I have.
However, since it seems the Sneak Peaks start tomorrow (putting the update launch about a week away), I probably wont have enough time to even get started on walls or my king since I play fairly casually now a days, (I can only raid about once or twice a day due to school and homework and activities). Should I stay and upgrade a few walls (or maybe stay another month and upgrade them all), or just move on to th9 after the update?
TL;DR: I am going to th9 soon after the update hits with everything maxed except purple walls and a lvl 5 king. Should I stay and max or should I upgrade th right after catching up after the update?
PS: I have heard a lot of friends talking about upgrading their walls ASAP. I usually get my new walls to the same level as my old walls and then work on defenses. After my defenses are decent, I come back and upgrade all of my walls to 1 level under that th's max, and keep them like that till I upgrade the th again. Should I put more priority into upgrading my walls?
