Hey guys I might be imagining things but as you all know the wizard shoots lightning at level 4, and the below levels shooting fireballs. My concern is not about the damage, but it is the projectile speed. I have been noticing during replays that the fireball takes more time to reach its target than the lightning do. I might be imagining like I have said but is there anyone who thinks the same?
Hopefully not. Someone should actually test this out, interesting theory.
The lightning is faster, you aren't imagining it. But it has no effect on gameplay. Wizards have the same attack speed across all levels so even if his projectile was instant there is still the cd on his attack.
But say you have that one builder hut left for a 3star, regardless of the cooldown the time taken for the wizard to ACTUALLY deal damage to it is longer.Quote:

That's true, there might be a delay of 200ms on the fireball compared to the lightning, but I moreso meant realistically it has no effect on gameplay. How often are you going to have that one builder hut left with a lvl 3 wizard trotting towards it with 5 seconds left, vs a lvl 4 wizard? haha
i have noticed the same with the animation thingy but if you can notice that the lightning travels longer and over shooting the actual target, making the single attack looks fast but with delayed dmg. so basically, the time that the actual dmg hit the specific target is just equally fast.
