As you can see, it got distracted by the king (normal), but after that it should've went to the core. You may be like no, that's not the closest building, then OK. Then wouldn't it have targeted that cannon or air defense? Ok maybe not because it got distracted by enemy AQ or CC healers, so for some reason it detects it from all the way there and runs around the edge. But it doesn't target either of those! There weren't any skeleton traps either. It just randomly stops and starts shooting the buildings right next to it. I activate the ability and it dies a few seconds later. LIKE WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?!?! I saw the raid, happy to end the day with a nearly 4K DE raid (FYI, 63^2 is actually 3,969 [the available DE in beginning]), and instead I just get 1.7K. I used my lightning on the storage, because A) I got zapped for 1.3K earlier and B) the stupid AQ made me mad. C'mon SC, really, even if the AQ still wouldn't have gone to the core, still fix the AI!

It doesn't make much sense, but at least it's kind of logical. I've been thinking: maybe her IQ isn't as low as 0 but so high that we can't even begin to understand it. :confused: (Just trying to make her feel better. :p)

Looks exactly like one of my raids earlier.

You didn't clear enough of the surrounding structures so dropping the jump spell early was wasted. As the Barb king was nearby the Archer Queen got distracted and headed his way, and then this triggered the CC troops and then followed by the Archer Queen, quite expected I would say...

Once a troop targets an enemy CC troop/Hero/Skel trap it will continue targetting enemy CC troops/Heros/Skel traps until there are no more enemy troops within some (not so small) radius.

Extremely annoying, but that's what we've got to work with.

It also seems this only lasts for a number of seconds. Which would explain why the queen switched to target the Elixir storage after a while.

People have yet to understand the AI... Once defensive troops attacked the offensive forces, the attacking forces will target them until they're gone and only then revert back to proximity-based buildings. That's what happened to your AQ. The only thing you could've done is to remove the BK prior to deploying her. And pray to the AI goddess :p

Lol at kids expecting near perfect A.I. in a free game. It's not even broken you just didn't want to clear any buildings, or heroes, or cc first so of course your queen was going to get distracted. Keep practicing those raids.

clearly ur AQ targeted the BK, then the CC healer, and then the AQ

the IQ is an issue when she targets walls when buildings are within her range, thats an AQ IQ issue

The CC troops were already triggered, I killed the what was in there, but left the healers alone. I understand here chasing after the BK, that makes sense, what happened after doesn't. And it was my last raid of the day so I really didn't care about wasting spells lol. For the jump spell, it also lasts 40 seconds, and it didn't run out yet when my queen went around the edge.

Like I said above, I didn't bother with the healers, I would've had to use like a quarter of my army just to get those healers since all they heal now is heroes. And like I said, I understand that it went after the BK, but what happened after that is simply ridiculous. And yes the AI isn't completely broken, but how many times has your AQ started shooting at a useless wall? Or do you not even have an AQ?

And did any of you guys even read what I put under the pictures? If you didn't, read the whole post before posting, otherwise don't post at all. The problem is NOT that it didn't go to the core. If it didn't, that was my fault. The problem was what happened after it killed the BK. It literally ignored like 5-8 buildings and didn't even target the enemy AQ or CC healers (no skele traps around), it just suddenly stopped and shot at the buildings next to her.

ive had it before where my aq clears a wall and has a direct route to a building but decides to also shoot the wall next to it thus wasting time. why would she do that. cost me a 3 star raid in cwars a few times 😢

Im too lazy to screenshot. Had a clanmate do war fight earlier. Cleared a good portion of base and dropped heroes on opposite side. BK functions as he should, walks to nearest building. AQ spends the first 40-ish seconds shooting 2 wall segments to access a building that wasn't even fully enclosed in wall, ended up costing him a 3rd star.

And yes, as much $$ as they have made off this game, it's reasonable to expect a decent AI for the troops in this game.

I know how you feel man. I was 3 cups short of champs and had my raged invis queen shooting the enemy th. She stopped halfway to go chase down a wizzad who wasn't even near her bc the wizard killed a minion. I lost 29 cups bc of her awesomeness. Oh its happened twice now lol.

If it started shooting at the core while getting shot at by enemy troops you wouldve complained either way.

Point being, heroes and clan troops will always be a distraction so kill them first and never have high expectations.

No, I wouldn't have, yes I would've complained in my mind, but not come to the forums for it. And it still doesn't explain the fact that it appeared to be going towards the healers, but then stop and not target them. This reply to me, along with a bunch of others in this thread, still doesn't answer the main problem.

I love my level 37 wall shooter and my level 25 wall puncher. They are amazing at it! Doesn't matter what level, they don't care. They are going to destroy that wall! You mean its not in your way? All walls are in the way when an Wall shooter, or wall puncher are around!!:rolleyes:

So whats this thread about, how people who cant raid and dont understand troop ai and blame the game are more likely to zap?:rolleyes:

And stop lying, the queen only shot other buildings AFTER you used ability. when you use ability they re-evaluate nearest target, by that point the defending queen wasn't shooting your troops anymore and there was no reason for your queen to shoot it.

I'm not lying. I don't activate king or queen ability while they're moving, unless they are really close to dying (and by the pics, you can see that it wasn't close to dying) so that I can get the most out of their extra damage. I attacked a bit from the queen side first to get some DE, but when all the troops died, then I started attacking from the top. The enemy AQ actually never attacked any troop since I attacked from top, which is also leaving me wondering what happened.

That reply was actually somewhat helpful, I didn't know they re-evaluated their target when ability activated.

The pics say a different story. One had the queen with exclamation marks and your queen which hadn't used ability chasing it with all other buildings un-damaged (which means queen was still chasing queen).
Next pic had queen with question marks meaning she wasn't hitting you anymore, and your queen had used ability and storage was being shot by your queen.

Hmmm...I didn't realize that. I guess the infernos killed the archers before the enemy AQ could shoot and then the ability caused my queen to re-target. Sucks how my queen ran all the way there for their queen which wasn't even hitting any of my troops though :/ Thanks for the answer!

You should see what happens when there's a ground skeleton trap that gets activated by your barb king or archer queen while you're using dragons. The dragons will literally run through the entire map from one side to the other side just to kill them. I'm not sure if this happens 100% of the time but it's the most frustrating thing ever when they're about to destroy the TH and they just decide nope, gotta kill those skeletons halfway across the base.

That happened with my gowipe once, 2 of my 3 pekkas went stupid mode and the one that was actually smart died pretty quickly.
