Most clans want players with Silver 1000+ level players as a minimum for admission.
In the meantime your castle remains vacant and your village easy pray.
A castle should be allowed to be populated by your troops (in a clan or not), and when part of a clan upon request populated by donated troops.
A castle should not just remain idle waiting for admittance to a clan of your choice.
What about joining one of those request and get out clans when you need something?Quote:

The game is called clash of clans, the idea is to be in a clan that is active and supportive. Allowing you to put your own troops in your CC takes away the need to really have a clan besides from clan wars.
Get a better clan, yours sucks apparently.
And more directly, it's not just called a castle. It's a "clan castle." You need to build it to join a clan and only your clan can fill it.Quote:

Not entirely true about joining requirements. There are plenty of low level 0 requirement clans. perhaps you are punching above your weight and looking at wrong clans.. After all you are pretty new.Quote:
