Why all the hate for healers?

Don't hate healers but at th9 level6 troops are good enough to farm.14 spaces, 0 dps and 15 min training isn't going to cut it because farming is more about gold per hour than wrecking a base.barch or bam are more efficient when chasing that 1,2mil gold per

I love healer and dragon. And yes, I'm max TH9 (including wall and heroes). I farm to lv 20+ heroes using giants-healers.

If they make healers work even for inferno, I'm sure people would use healer much more.

Man, I wish they do that.

Healers will actually heal defense and buildings when in war castles. They are not a good choice, but a few battles it was fun to watch.

Healers arent good because your limiting already limited bases. You want targets with good loot/trophies not bases with exposed ADs. Unless you really like the next button this is mostly just people enjoying the challenge of it.

It's a tradeoff. With healers you need to pay attention to the position of ADs, but you can in turn ignore the position of ground defenses (since their damage can be just healed).

Kinda like a heal spell.

I honestly don't think healers itself are useless, they can actually be pretty useful. I think the problem is what's on defense that makes them useless. Seeking air mines, air defenses and infernos all make healers pretty useless. There's too much going on for healers to be a success and people just prefer healing spells, where infernos are the only problems.

Bringing a heal spell means not bringing a rage spell, which would instead provide extra firepower and increase the healing abilities of healer. It's all a trade off.

The one thing that makes healers a bit weak are seeking air mines. Having a 14 housing space troop taken out instantly is kinda harsh. If healers where scaled down to a lower housing space, then seeking air mines wouldn't hurt as much.

Possible solutions (implementing all 3):

1. Infernos don't neglect healers heal.
2. Healer L5 for TH10 (L8 lab). (min 1500 HP)
3. SAMs do 1/2 damage to healers.

Healers really seem to start getting useless at TH8, and that's when these effects will start to make a difference.

If her Training time gets lower I might consider using her to farm

lvl6 GiBarch is enough to do a storage raid, I don't need my giants to live through the raid, just to destroy enough to let my Barch do the looting
