I respect that. But what if you had more reason to protect your TH? Like a defense bonus?
It should not be. That is my point.
I feel I have no choice. The advantage of a farming base is so great that I would have to be stupid not to take advantage of it.
I have never managed to get higher than Crystal 2. I would probably love to raid in the masters/champion league, but then I would need more trophies. I find it hard to collect trophies when it is loot I want. But this is kinda off topic...
Careful with this one. Games are an escape from reality. Making games make "more sense" is often bad design. Nobody wants to play a game called My Crappy Life. Unrealistic is often the best way.
More specific to this topic, I agree that the TH should be valued enough to protect. The problem (which you have acknowledged) is that making that change would require a boatload of accompanying changes. Enough that the core game play dynamic would be impacted. Since TH in -vs- TH out is only an opinion problem (that is, it doesn't break gameplay) it may be prudent to leave it alone rather than risk breaking gameplay with sweeping change. It may be safer and easier to take this as a lesson learned and account for from the start in their next game.
