Pretty sure that you just give the IGN and Clan Name of your clan, and the people over at SC can directly insert the gems into your account. They're powerful enough to link accounts to new devices, so I see it as possible. They'll figure something out no matter what.
They'll probably message you via email or your IGN & clan.
