Honestly, I don't think maxing out is important UNTIL you reach TH 8. I know many of the posters above will disagree, but honesty, the loot is still amazing at TH 8. Anyways, it's all down to you. I made the mistake of rushing to TH 9, but I recovered in the end.
Max out as much as you can I made the mistake of rushing town hall 7.. DON'T!
How is rushing to TH7 a mistake? How badly did you rush it? I went early, only had 1 max mortar, 1 max wizard tower, 1 max archer towers, 1 max cannon, 1 maxed barracks. My air defense wasn't maxed. I only had maybe 30 maxed walls.Quote:

And that was just the first week. You think I wanted to wait 2-3 more weeks to finish grinding my TH6 to max? Pfft! The loot was soooo much better at TH7, and so much easier to get.
And it only got better at TH8. I'm glad I rushed to TH8 as well. My only regret was not maxing my AD's first. (You'd think I would have learned the first time, but no.) At least I maxed my BK and my DE drill before I went to TH8. Teslas were level 3 and 2, so almost maxed. Both wizard towers maxed, 2 of the 3 mortars maxed. My point defenses are woefully behind, and I still have a lot of pink walls. Oh well. Still no regrets. TH8 is even better than TH7! I'd heard that TH8 sucks, but I totally disagree.
