When should I upgrade to town hall level 7? Cause it says Note : Upgrading will reduce your loot from opponents with town hall level 6 and below.
When you max everything out, including walls. You should ALWAYS max everything out.
In general you should upgrade everything before you move on to the next TH level. If you don't, you're going to have a hard time defending your loot and farming for loot.
That said, I don't like to ever have a builder idle or the lab idle, so upgrading a bit early if e.g. you finish researching everything is reasonable.
If your army that you used is maxed and spells, and you have stopped attacking TH5s and below, then go ahead.
Probably right now. Then at th7 start maxing your farming troops and upgrading army camps. I dont see much point in remaining below th7 very long tbh. Loot is still great at th7 you'll have few problems once you get your camp space to 200 and farming troops to level 4.
You need to max at TH6 before moving up.

I max everything except walls and resource collectors. I only do collectors when I have idle builders and not enough time to farm for an expensive upgrade. My collectors are close to max, close enough that it's not worth 4 or 5 days to upgrade them.
And I have tend to have a mix of walls, from max to 2 levels below max. By the time I upgrade, all my walls are at least 1 level below max, and I try to get at least a few dozen walls up to max. Hence, once my TH finishes upgrading, I have walls 1-2 levels below max. And I usually get a few max walls early on to protect key junctions and my DE storage. So yeah, I have walls 0-2 levels below max for the first few weeks.
Does it make me a little easier to attack in war? Maybe a tiny bit easier. But spending weeks as a maxed base, minus a few pieces of wall, sounds like a glorious waste of time. And resources. Oh, and time too...
If I can offer no other piece of advice, I would offer this: Do not upgrade to TH7 until your Air Defense is maxed. It's hard enough upgrading the new AD at TH7, but having to upgrade both of them just takes a lot of time and gold. So go into TH7 with a maxed AD.Quote:

I am in general a fan of maxing before upgrading.However, the additional attacking power of that fourth Army Camp makes the early upgrade from 6 to 7 worth it.
