Can we change the dragons attack from splash to single target?
Why nerf the troop with the smallest useful window in the game?
Upgrade your Air defs, at th9 they are bad already, why to make themeven worse
dragons are not OP learn how to play with the AI through base design and a town hall 7 can be two starred at best with em...if you do it right
Actually, that WAS helpful advice. There is a lot of reading and thousands of videos about how to counter dragon attacks. Once you take the time to learn it you won't feel that dragons are overpowered. They are pretty easy to stop if you set your mind to it. All of the information you seek is here, you need but search to find it.
I'll agree that dragons are OP at TH7, but it's not the splash damage that makes them OP.
On defense, the attacker simply needs to surround the dragon, instead of dropping all their archers/wizards in one spot and watching them fry. I mean, yeah, it makes for hilarious replays for the defender's clan to watch, but seriously, it's not that hard to beat a dragon with a handful of archers or wizards.
On attack, CC troops are nothing more than a mild distraction. Unless there's a high-health target in the CC, like giants and other dragons. Then the dragons have to actually stop for several seconds. In which case, I guess taking out 4-5 giants at once, instead of one at a time, might seem OP for the defender to watch on a replay. But really, there are far more effective ways to nerf dragons, without taking away a key fun feature of using them!
If you want to nerf dragons, make a serious suggestion, like reducing DPS by 20 or something like that. But take away splash damage? Dude, learn how to use dragons, and how to properly lure and kill them.
The only use for splash damage is against CC troops. You are obviously inexperienced.
I have wanted them to change how they attack for a long time. its kind of boring to have them just blow fire. I think they should land in front of and charge their target on ground using their claws and teeth to rend to bits. And then fire is ok too.
