Space is not the issue here, BUT this is a cool idea that would be fun to implement into the game! :) good idea!
I think this is an excellent idea, usually flags have to be right on the corners and sides of the villages, where they are rarely noticed.

Rather pointless. It's like allowing people to put a flag on their house to represent gay pride.
