Troop upgrade priority, for war clans !

Hey guys, so I have looked through tons of forums, and YouTube vids about ( What should be my troops priority ) upgrade wise ! So far alot are old, or most don't know ♥♥♥ they're talking about ! So if you're curious about my credentials. Please look me up Havoc ( Disciple of War ). I am also interested in hearing others points of view on this topic. Also I apologize for Grammar errors, I am doing this on my phone!

Th7

LVL 2 drags ASAP

Level 4 rage & heals

At TH7 YOU SHOULD ONLY BE DOING
DRAGON ATTACKS !! Easy 3 stars !!

BARB KING ALWAYS TILL 5...

After your drags and spells are maxed then work on
Archers
Wizards
Barbs
Giants
Balloons
wall breakers
GOBLINS ARE BAD ! HEALERS ARE BAD !

I don't care about your method, you're going against bad people of you're rocking healers in war and are successful.

TH8

Dragons lvl 3

Archers for farming defense upgrades.

Wizards for donations/ potential GOWIPE

Spells ( all ) depending on what you use for war. I.E rage heals or lighting.

NOT in any specific order here

Barb / giant

Pekka ( maxed )

Golem ( maxed )

HOG ( maxed )

Balloons ( maxed )

The reason for these specific upgrades is to be extremely efficient at your town hall level and get stars for your war clan !

This IS NOT a farming upgrade list.

JUST A WAR upgrade list. For TH7 and TH8

Also if you're serious about war, please look at your base and ask how often you get 3 starred and by whom ? If it's alot time to change your war base. A good defense is just as strong as an offense sometimes.

Again guys, I would LOVE to hear your feedback. Along with solid reasons why you would do it another way!

For Town Hall 7 & 8 I think its Drags. For 9 Balloons, Hounds, Rage can not speak on Town Hall 10 because Im a 9 but lavaloon does quite well against 10's in War. Heroes Lvl. dont seem to matter with this attack they mostly end up being used for clean up.

Dragons are ...

They're actually easy once you learn the foundation, of how to attack with them. Most people throw them around the base and hope to get 3 stars. Watch my video this is how to properly dragon attack ! It is the most efficient way to lay them etc. After that its just placement of where you wanna lay them ( N, S, E , W ETC. )

Hogs

I have done hogs before, and they are too random. Depending on the base. If its a nice tight enclosed base then sure, but if its spread hogs are too risky 99% of the time. I get 1-3 stars randomly with proper heal spells added.
Drags are the best way to go for TH7 AND TH8 for consistent stars

I do the "Jorge Yao" way. Not sure if anyone actually remembers this or him, but you basically have 4 lightnings and drop them on a AD, then drop the drags in a "L" shape. It's honestly really effective against other TH 9's.

You will be war ready in a much shorter time. Hogs upto lvl 3 are just not worth using unless you know where the bombs are.

Plus, many people upgrade dragons to lvl 2 at th7 for war. So it is even more favourable for dragons.

However, hogs lvl 4 are absolutely better than dragons lvl 3 once you have them.

Properly placing your dragons

If you know how to attack with dragons in war, they're the best means for TH7 & TH8 to get stars. GOWIPE late TH8 maybe. HOGS ARE TO RISKY. I am maxed TH8 and war 24/7. My best friends are TH10 TH9 TH8 and properly placed dragons are THE BEST way to attack for TH7 & TH8 ! Hogs & GOwipe might work on certain bases at certain times, but overall dragons are the MAJORITY ! If you dont think so, then you are not doing it correctly!! THAT I ASSURE YOU !!

Agreed with the amount of time to upgrade hogs. AS you can see from my profile EVERYTHING is almost maxed. I have tried every reasonable attack. Im telling you hogs are unpredictable and they will fail, maybe not on a LOW th8 ! Try bringing hogs to my warbase and u will be lucky to 1 star. That's my experiance with them. I cannot attack across with hogs 90% of the time. I consider myself to be very proficient in hog attacks too. Also with HODRAG!

The time and effort that has to be put into level 4 hogs is irrelevant. I'm basing my opinion on their performance

You must be kidding. You're clearly a noob just from this reply alone. It's interesting you talk a lot about funneling dragons correctly, yet you seem to have no clue how to use hogs. No th8 base can stop hogs if the hogger knows how to actually use it.

Don't be so rude. Hogs are much more tricky to use as compared to dragons, so if dragons work well for many people, they do not make the effort that hogs require. For example, I didn't.

But it is true that hogs lvl 4 are more powerful than dragons lvl 3 if my experience of wars isn't unusual.

Ofcourse, for town hall 8, a max gowipe will definitely be more effective than mass drag, especially when attacking higher levels. Also, while there is a lower margin for error, it is probably stronger, and definitely better to max these troops now than at town hall 9.

There is no reason to use anything but lvl2 dragons for th7 in war. It is the most overpowered attack for th7 vs th7. When I was th7 I did all drags with lvl6 loons in the CC. Use 3 lightning to take out one air d.
