How long does it take to save for the 5th builder?

Has anyone gotten the 5th builder without buying gems? How long did it take from the day you installed the game?

If I remember correctly, you need to hit Masters or Champs, not sure which one, to get enough gems needed for 5th builder. But it's possible.

Snipe to masters amd you could get it in a day probably.

(I think you know where I'm going with this one)

I been playing for a year but once I got focused on getting my 5th builder it only took maybe 4 months - just save dont spend any gems clear all obstacles as soon as possible(im always paranoid they're taking up a gem box spawn spot) bank every achievment & take a trip to masters and last but not least dont go for any 1 gem promo's every gem count. Or you can just snipe your way to champions thats a 2k gem bonus & get your 5th that way.

It has taken me since July I believe. I got it last month, and all I had to do was war a TON, push to crystal, and barely boost things (even on events- resist the temptation!) :)

So you started the game in July or you got your 4th builder and started saving for the 5th in July?

If you do the league all-star you could get it really quickly. I wish I would have known that when I was a noob as it's the only thing I bought gems for but now I have 2600 with nothing to spend them on.

I've done it.
I started playing April 2014. I didn't spend any gems except on builders and finally got my 5th builder in December.
That's from a combination of gem boxes and achievements. It wasn't that hard.

The sad part is now that I've got 5 builders, my lab is the bottleneck and my builders will be idle soon. LOL :rolleyes:

BTW: I've never been to masters but I've completed quite a few of the other achievements.
