Why the petitioning for ch3ats?

I'm well aware about the fact that it isn't fair, blah blah blah, and that people are blaming SC is trying to cover up their "flaws". But has anyone actually come up for a reasonable answer for why they would do this, and not like, "SC think they so gud covering up their flaws." A couple of hours someone actually had a great idea as to why SC wouldn't address this to the public.

Okay, first off to you people and the petition thing, do you guys actually think SC would turn blind eye to this and not admitting it? The reason I came across, and is a good one, is that if they announced about it, it would attract more attention, and people would search about it and MAYBE even use it, increasing the ch3ating population. I'm pretty sure that's not what they have in mind. It's basically telling a child not to touch something, and probably 9 out of 10 would touch it either way.

I'm not saying covering things up is something good, but SC has a good reason. Leave them alone, and just wait till the next update. Who knows, it might even be a hotfix. It's also not as easy as you think. There will always be a loophole, and tbh, there's probably going to be another ch3at if the current ones are patched.

Do I think SC would 'attempt', to turn a blind eye to this, absolutely yes.

They will never directly address it as they don't want to publicly admit there is a problem with their product.

With the brain trust and capital SuperCell has at their disposal they could 'over time', combat this issue.

We just want a ''cheát free'' game. :)

Ha thats a dream, no game, i repeat NO GAME doesnt deal with the exact same problem. Its not just this game its every single one out there.

As I said though, it's not as easy as you think it is. There's always going to be loopholes too, so in all honestly this shouldn't be a top priority. I want a fair game too, but believe it or not, there's just going to be new ch3ats. Trying finding a popular game that's 100% ♥♥♥♥♥ free. I doubt you're going to find one, even though they keep on trying to patch it. New ones just appear.

So in other words, let's tear them down for being a business that acts like a business? It's in a businesses interest to fix problems. It's not in their interest to advertise the problems. I don't know why everyone thinks SC is doing nothing about these problems. Are they supposed to call you? Come to your house and tuck you in at night? Should they be emailing us updates twice a day? These fixes don't happen over night. You plug one hole, someone finds another. Theyre working every day on fixing this stuff. It's insane to think they're not. I can't believe some of you are stupid enought to buy into the evil greedy corporation me me me ♥♥♥♥. They're a business selling a product. Of course they want the best product they can make, it just doesn't happen at the snap of your selfish little fingers.

Attacking is done on the client software. No matter what, h@ckers will always be able to h@ck the client software.

While attacking, the client communicates with the server. The server makes sure all of the data from the client is valid. Otherwise someone could h@ck the client, make it pass false data to the server, and automatically win every attack.

The problem is, the client can't communicate with the server 100% of the time. The quality of mobile devices' internet connections is very unreliable. This means, the client software has to has to be able to run the attacking algorithms itself, in absence of the server.

Since the attacking algorithms exist on the client software, h@cks can prevent the client from communicating with the server, resulting in the ability to perform "sandbox" attacks.

To prevent sandbox attacks, they would need to remove the attacking algorithms from the client. This means, the client would have to have a solid and fast connection to the server 100% of the time, and there would be lots of issues with lag.

Basically, there are two options. Have smooth gameplay for everyone, but allow some people to che@t. Or prevent people from che@ting, but have laggy gameplay for everyone.

Its a matter of applying resources to an issue, cost of said resources and return on investment.

I can guarantee you if this issue was more publicly promoted 'and people didn't accept it', more attention/resources would be allocated.

Here's what I'd like to see happen:

Getting everyone 'where everyone = a blip and above on their sales register', to not purchase gems for X days. If this could be successfully organised I can guarantee you would see change.
