This game's biggest gooch....

I have 2 bases. I switched momentarily and when I logged back into my primary, I get told I've been playing too long and my troops need to rest.

I do not have a problem with being forced offline. I don't like it and think it is STUPID but I understand and can deal with it.

I DO have a problem being forced offline without being warned and given the opportunity to spend the resources I'd worked so hard all afternoon to acquire before someone raids or to start training time-laden troops for war. I know if I'm logged in it will give me a warning, but not if I log out momentarily when close to my "boot-off" time.

What's more - since I tried to log into it without knowing this, I can't log into my secondary base because it is trying to log me into my primary.

COULD YOU DEVELOP SOME SORT OF MORE GENEROUS WAY FOR US TO KNOW HOW LONG WE HAVE LEFT BEFORE BEING BOOTED OFF???

Currently, it's nothing but a big gooch.

How long does it take before you get cut off?

Well, when you're laid up in bed with an injury, you have to make do as best you can to pass the time, not that it's any business of yours how I choose to spend my time.

I don't think 15 mins time out is that long.

still it would be helpful to have a timer or something while playing if people are gonna play a few straight hours like that. Sometimes as the time limit draws near I would just prefer to log off and take a quick break so the time you have been playing simply resets. I have played 8 hours straight in the past though lol.

What the heck is it with peoples' reading comprehension these days!?? Nothing about my post was in reference to the amount of time you get booted off for.

Just so that I'm clear - I'm asking for a better warning for us to know we are about to be booted off so that we have an opportunity to prepare for it.

Last time I checked, in supercell policy, you were not allowed to have more than one account. I guess, first, you need to ask supercell to let you have more than one accounts.

As I recall it is supposed to be one per device. Thus, I have three (work phone, personal phone, tablet).

I don't really see the problem. There is a warning before you are kicked and if you really want to know how much time you have left just start a six hour timer when you start playing. :confused:

I think having more than one account is not allowed but it is not a part of the ToS that Supercell has chosen to enforce, so it doesn't matter. :)

So this is how you chose to spend your timeout? Making a pointless thread rather than going outside? Nice job!

Don't your eyes hurt from staring at your device for that long? My goodness I can't play for longer than 1 hour without my eyes watering.

Also @ op. If you are using android device . just clear data in settings->apps->coc->clear data. Then login to other account. Problem solved.

You do get warning before 5 mins of getting kicked.


@others.. stop assuming everyone has same normal life like rest of people. Don't try to be smartass. Someone might have had broken his leg and admitted in hospital with nothing to do or someone who can't go out for different reasons. There are all kinds of situation a person can be in. Don't say go out or get a life or whatnot without knowing about that person.

I also hate this feature. There are other games I've played where they give you the warning that you have been playing too long, but don't kick they just give you another message saying they are not liable for whatever happens Yada Yada legal ways of letting the player play for as long as they want with no repercussions to the game makers. And don't judge someone for wanting to play the game all day. Some people like myself log in constantly all day some hardly at all. That's the awesome thing about this game it can be played so many different ways. So if you want to go outide and play then do so don't tell someone how to live their life. This is a forum to talk, exchange ideas, & help better the game not to bag on one another about how long or whatever reasons they play the game.

Just like to thank the forum trolls for an amusing read. I have in fact played games in past that was for hours on end. You can get emersed in your game and not see that hours pass. Either way was funny to see haters comment on what they don't know.
Now to return to the actual topic of the thread, I have not personally played for that long but I can imagine that having a definative notice of the impending boot would be prefered.

Hmm I have 3 villages on 3 phones. I never had that problem, although I can be online for hours,
