I think it would be really cool if you had the option to attack & overthrow you clan's leader. If you win then you become the new leader. You could make a penalty if the person lost.

This sounds like a really bad idea.
Max TH8 clan hopper goes into unsuspecting clan, beats the ♥♥♥♥ out of the leader then boots all members and leaves.

If the person who was planning to overthrow the leader he would need to obtain a certain amount of members supporting him before he was able to try to take the position of leader

Our leader did not play at all but would not give the leader position to someone else. Our leader was about level 60 while we were all 80-110. you could have a vote (if some one starts one to overthrow them) and if it passes then the person who started it would have to attack him and kill his town hall and that person would become leader. if the vote loses or the attacker loses the the attacker/vote starter would be kicked........ good idea bro.
ps vote could only be by like co leaders or elders or something not members who just joined
the leader should be able to accept the challenge
