It depends what they put on to it. I am a huge fan of simple math and you get out what you put in. As long as they avoid the common mistakes that have killed other "mmo" games it could potentially be at least a decade or until we are all doing virtual reality. I am primarily gph and pvp also bye clash is way different than my MMO experiences.
Id give it about 3 more days tops.

Hard to predict, but I'd say clash of clans could last for years. As long as it remains fun and the best game of its type on the market, it will remain relevant. If something better comes along, then the players here will naturally migrate to the better game. So far this hasn't happened, at least for me.
